Creamy Avocado Pasta Recipe for Babies & Toddlers

Here is a healthy version of pasta recipes for kids. This nutritious recipe is also great in taste and kids to enjoy it. And a big relief to moms like me who are always worried about healthy eating options for their kids. Also, this recipe can be a great family meal option.

  • PREP TIME: 10 minutes
  • COOK TIME: 20 minutes  
  • SERVES: 1 Baby/ Toddler
  • SUITABLE FROM: 6 months +

INGREDIENTS:

  • Organic wheat pasta – 1 cup
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Onion – 1/2 cup
  • Bell Peppers – 1/2 cup
  • Carrots – 1/2 cup
  • Tomato – 1/2 cup
  • Baby corn – 1/2 cup
  • Avocado – 1 (ripe)
  • Lemon – half
  • Olive oil/ Avocado oil – 1 tsp
  • Cheese – 1/2 cup
  • Butter – to fry
  • Oregano – for seasoning (optional)
  • Pepper – for seasoning

METHOD:

  1. Cook pasta as per the instructions given behind the pack. Rinse well under cold water once cooked.
  2. Mash ripe avocado, lemon, olive oil and mix well. You can use blender as an alternative to blend. The avocado sauce is ready.
  3. To another pan add some butter and saute all the veggies. Let it fry and cook well. Add the cooked pasta to it and mix well. Switch off the stove and toss in the avocado sauce.
  4. Garnish with oregano, cilantro & some shredded cheese.
  5. Pasta is now ready to eat.

NOTE:

  • More veggies like broccoli, olives can be added.
